Lexus has a new concept car called the LF-1 Limitless that re-imagines what a flagship SUV might look like for the brand.
And not a flagship in the sense of a very big boxy three row SUV like the LX is right now, but more of a two row, very kinda low slung, almost hatchback like SUV that would be sold alongside the LS sedan, which kinda loosely shares this platform with the LF-1 Limitless concept. We're told other things here, 22 inch wheels. A very rearward set cabin, as you can see. A very long hood that actually sits just slightly above defenders right here in terms of kind of a three-dimensional profile here. You come around to the front and that profile actually just turns into this, which is the latest evolution of Lexus's spindle grill. Really kinda fans out here. Looks much more integrated into the rest of the vehicle than in other current Lexus production models. Check out the interior here. Four of the same seats here, front and rear, and you get a lot of screens going on. There's a big screen that kinda sits atop the center part of the dashboard. Then there's screens that sort of flank the instrument display there. Very cool stuff. Probably not much of that would actually make it to production if this car actually did make it to production, but we have to take all of these things seriously now because the LF-LC concept that we thought was pretty much just a concept car made it to production in the form of the LC500. So plenty more to come, and we'll have lots to report, so stay tuned.
