2016-2018 Cadillac CT6: Recall Alert

Vehicles Affected: Approximately 22,000 model-year 2016-18 Cadillac CT6 sedans

The Problem: The inboard child-seat anchorage bars may have had excess structural adhesive applied during assembly, which can interfere with the installation of a child seat, increasing the risk of injury.

The Fix: Dealers will inspect, remove any excess adhesive, and apply anti-corrosion primer to the inboard child-seat anchorage bars for free.

What Owners Should Do: Cadillac manufacturer GM did not immediately announce an owner-notification schedule. Owners can call the automakers at 800-458-8006, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236 or visit NHTSA’s website to check their vehicle identification number and learn more.
