We hunted down a handful of new-car incentives, but if you’re in the market for a modestly priced compact sedan, you need to check out the 2024 Kia Forte. Kia is offering a factory discount of $1,250, yielding a price after savings from $20,000 to $25,500, which represents a discount of as much as 6%. Not only is this incentive available on all Forte trims in the regions we surveyed, but this small sedan already comes cheap and managed to earn a recommendation from Cars.com editors among affordable cars. The catch is that you can’t wait around long to start your Forte foray if you hope to enjoy these savings: Get your local Kia dealership by July 8.

If, however, you’re on the extreme opposite end of the car-shopping spectrum and you’re in the market for a giant SUV for commensurately big bucks, then you need to check out this week’s third-place finisher: Cars.com reviewer Conner Golden’s comprehensive critique of the 2025 Infiniti QX80. Redesigned for the new model year, the full-size luxury SUV is back and better than ever, and despite ranging from more than $84,000 up to nearly $113,000, is impressively equipped at all levels. Promisingly, this new QX80 is proffered to presage a brand evolution for Infiniti and beyond.
“It’s a good full-size luxury SUV, and a positive sign that Infiniti might be on the up-and-up toward higher territory,” Golden states in his review, alluding to the outgoing QX80’s less-than-glowing reputation among its big, spendy rivals. “Despite the extra cash required [for the range-topping Autograph trim], I think SUV-hungry customers will snap these up as quick as they can build ’em.”
Beyond that, we’ve got headlines on Nissan Pathfinder, Nissan Sentra, Tesla Model Y and much more — so don’t stop reading till the digits double. Here are the top 10 news stories Cars.com readers couldn’t get enough of in the past week:
