Imagine your first job out of college is working for GM’s design studio. Sounds cool, right? Then the company decides to hand you the reins in a project to design a major concept car that will debut at the granddaddy of all auto shows. That’s what GM did with three young designers and Hummer’s HX concept. The Hummer HX is aimed at the Jeep Wrangler as a two-door offroad-enthusiast dream machine that has a high likelihood of going into production.
The three designers worked as a team, but each one came up with a distinct design. Only one of the three versions will win GM’s final approval and appear under the lights in Detroit. Our bet is on the Kang HX above. Check out all three sketches below.
