All equipped with a spare tire/wheel.
The problem: The spare tire winch cable may get entangled when attempting to reinstall the spare tire in its storage position. This is due to the cable guide not securing the cable in its path.
Corrective action: Dealers will install a steel spring in the plastic guide of the winch. This will act as a separator and guide for the cable, ensuring the cable winds up on the winch properly when the spare tire is stored.
Warranty info: This service campaign is being done free of charge, regardless of mileage, until Dec. 31, 2016. Coverage is automatically transferred to a subsequent owner.
