Hyundai has announced that its 2009 Elantra Touring will start at $17,800. This puts it well behind competition like the 2009 Scion xB, which starts at $15,750, and the Pontiac Vibe, which starts at $16,100.
The Elantra Touring is a five-door version of Hyundai’s Elantra Sedan and comes with several different option packages listed after the jump. The price doesn’t include the destination charge of $695. Hyundai says the Elantra Touring will be available at dealerships in the first quarter of 2009.
