Vehicle Overview The Impala is Chevrolet’s flagship full-size sedan. Three trim levels are available: LS, LT and LTZ. Impalas compete with the Ford Taurus, Chrysler 300 and Toyota Avalon.
New for 2010 The LT model gets new standard and optional features for 2010, and the high-performance SS trim was dropped from the lineup.
Exterior Built on a 110.5-inch wheelbase, the Impala is 200.4 inches long overall, 72.9 inches wide and 58.7 inches tall. The Impala is longer than the 300 and Avalon and nearly the same width as the Avalon, but it’s narrower than the Taurus and 300. As for height, it’s taller than the 300 and Avalon but 2 inches lower than the Taurus.
