2012 Fiat 500 Cabrio Revealed Ahead of New York Auto Show

The power-operated cloth top seems to function in the same manner as the top on some Jeep Liberty models — mainly, the cloth top folds on itself as it travels along a track in the roof rails until it’s completely gathered near the rear spoiler. Fiat says the top can be retracted at speeds up to 60 mph; some convertibles can manage somewhere around 35 mph, but most require that you’re at a complete stop.

The 500c will seat up to four, like the regular 500, and will be available in 14 exterior colors, 12 seat colors and three different soft-top colors — including this nice red featured in the provided photos.
