Cars.com Family Reviews the 2012 BMW 3 Series

Life is a series of compromises, but there’s one that you can skip: a boring family car. The 2012 BMW 3 Series helps parents break out of family-car boredom, according to Cars.com Family contributor Sara Lacey. This five-seat sedan has been redesigned for 2012, and it looks tough — some might even say menacing. With its turbocharged inline-six-cylinder engine and its optional six-speed manual transmission, you’ll feel like a speed demon driving the 335i instead of a responsible parent, Lacey says.
