When the Jeep Grand Cherokee was redesigned last year, Chrysler managed to make the SUV a more refined daily driver while maintaining most of the old Grand Cherokee’s rugged nature. The updates are probably a boon for traditional Grand Cherokee buyers, but it wasn’t a great fit for Cars.com reviewer Kristin Varela or her family. The high step-up height and the somewhat snug interior made the Grand Cherokee not the best fit for large families, Varela says.
