Cars.com reviewer Mike Hanley said Chrysler has a winner with its large sedan thanks to the 300’s blend of quietness, comfort and highway composure. The full-size sedan class is undergoing a transformation — boring and dated are being replaced with comfortable and classy — and Chrysler’s refined 300 is at the head of the pack.

The 2013 300 is available in base 300, 300S, 300C and 300C Luxury Series trims. Base versions of the sedan start at $31,340, including a $995 destination fee. Hanley’s test model was a special-edition Glacier all-wheel-drive version that features a unique “Falls” pattern cloth insert on its leather seats, specific wheels, various piano-black trim pieces and Glacier badging. A cold-air intake and freer-flowing exhaust bump the V-6’s horsepower from to 292 to 300. Adding in $1,500 for the black painted roof and $995 for the Uconnect multimedia system took the as-tested price of his test car to $40,335.
