Hyundai’s premium sedan will get a refresh for 2014. We’ll meet the revised Equus later this month at the 2013 New York International Auto Show.
Hyundai promises the large sedan will have “more than 30 new and enhanced features” for 2014. Highlights include updated styling, new interior materials and additional safety features.
No word yet on powertrain. The current model uses a 429-horsepower 5.0-liter V-8 engine paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, up from 2011’s 385-horsepower 4.6-liter V-8 and six-speed automatic. Hyundai’s largest sedan joined the lineup for model-year 2011; it returned unchanged for 2013.
Check back with us after Hyundai pulls the wraps off the 2014 Equus on March 27th.
