The problem: Kia is updating these cars’ airbag control unit software to ensure occupant safety in the event of a crash. The affected vehicles were manufactured between July 21, 2013, and Nov. 26, 2014.
Corrective action: Dealers will update the airbag control unit software.
Warranty info: This repair is being done free of charge under the new-car warranty.
