The problem: Affected vehicles may exhibit a condition where the power back door is inoperative or stops during operation. The condition may be associated with cold weather and may be due to a faulty power unit and/or multiplex door connector in the power door.
Corrective action: Dealers will replace faulty power units and/or the multiplex door connector, and then reprogram the new parts to the body control module.
Warranty info: This service bulletin is being performed free of charge under the Toyota new-vehicle warranty.
