2014-2016 Kia Soul, Kia Soul EV Steering Issue

The problem: These cars’ steering gear pinion plugs may have been secured with insufficient thread locker. Should a pinion plug come loose, loss of steering could occur.
Vehicles affected by service bulletin:

Corrective action: Dealers will replace the steering gear pinion plug and secure it with sufficient bonding agent.
