The Savana full-size van comes in a variety of configurations. It is available in 1500, 2500 and 3500 weight classes; regular- and long-wheelbase form; cargo and passenger versions; and with rear- or all-wheel drive. Five engines are offered. Competitors include the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, Nissan NV and Ford E-Series. The Savana is related to the Chevrolet Express.
New for 2014 The cargo model comes as a new Crew Cargo Van with a three-person rear bench seat and a bulkhead that separates the passenger from the cargo area. It is available in 2500 and 3500 form and has fixed full-body windows, swing-out passenger-side doors and side curtain airbags.
New to passenger vans are standard power windows and locks.
