The Outlander Sport is Mitsubishi’s smallest SUV with room for five people. It competes with the Honda CR-V, Ford Escape and Hyundai Tucson.
New for 2014
The Outlander Sport gets new audio systems, with SE trim levels gaining a 6.1-inch touch-screen stereo with HD Radio and a backup camera. There’s a new steering wheel with stereo controls and improved sound insulation, according to Mitsubishi. Outlander Sports with the continuously variable automatic transmission get a balancer shaft for the engine for smoother and quieter performance, and a 7-inch touch-screen navigation system with real-time traffic information is available.
