The problem: Affected vehicles may exhibit a condition where the air conditioning does not cool or the cooling is weak, or the compressor exhibits a groaning or grinding sound; either condition may be intermittent. This may be due to a faulty air-conditioning compressor regulator valve.
Corrective action: Dealers will diagnose the condition, and if confirmed, replace the air-conditioning compressor regulator valve and recharge the system.
