After nearly eight years without a redesign, the Cadillac Escalade is making a comeback for the 2015 model year with a new platform, new look and new interior. The Escalade stepped out for the first time Wednesday at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show and, like many of the city’s rich and famous for whom it’s the luxury SUV of choice, we immediately noticed the work it’s had done to its face and body. The angular mug and blocky shape of the extended-length ESV are accented by LED headlights and LED piping in front and rear, and it’s blinged up with standard 20-inch aluminum-alloy wheels. Inside are high-gloss features such as real-wood trim, the Cadillac User Experience multimedia system, a 12.3-inch gauge display, and second- and third-row seats that tumble flat at the push of a button for maximum cargo space.
