2015 Chevrolet Corvette: What's New

Vehicle Overview

Chevrolet’s iconic sports car, the Corvette, was redesigned last year. With the launch of the seventh-generation version the Stingray name returned, and the car is powered by a 6.2-liter V-8 engine. It competes with the Nissan GT-R, and a high-performance Z06 version is available.

Corvette Convertible
Chevrolet developed the Corvette convertible simultaneously with the coupe to maintain the car’s driving dynamics without a rigid top. Often, convertibles need chassis strengthening to replace rigidity lost by removing the fixed roof. Chevrolet says the only structural changes to the Corvette convertible are limited to accommodations for the folding top and repositioned safety belt mounts.
What’s Special

  • Glass rear window
  • Top operates at speeds up to 30 mph, and can be activated by the key fob
