The BMW 2 Series is the company’s entry-level car. It is a sporty two-door coupe or convertible with seating for four. It’s available in two models: 228i and M235i. The 228i has a 240-horsepower, turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, while the M235i is motivated by a 320-hp, turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six-cylinder. Competitors include the Audi A5 and Mercedes-Benz C-Class coupe. New for 2016 Sport Line content and an anti-theft alarm system are now standard on all 2 Series convertible models. Sport Line features include sport seats, a sport version of BMW’s signature kidney grille, high-gloss black accents and a sport instrument cluster.
