Fiat is expanding its tiny lineup of cars with an SUV that may be the biggest Fiat yet, but is still pretty compact. The 2016 500X, debuting at the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show, is based on the new Jeep Renegade subcompact SUV but wears distinctive Fiat-branded styling.
Where the Renegade looks rugged, Fiat’s version strikes a more whimsical look. Two wide, slatlike grille openings divided by the Fiat logo are front and center, flanked by perky, wide-eyed headlights.
