If Goldilocks were shopping for a small Honda and found the CR-V compact crossover “too big!” and the Fit subcompact hatchback “too small!” she might find the all-new 2016 HR-V “just right!” Slotting below the CR-V, the HR-V, which bows this week at the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show, wears a sportier, more rounded look than its right-angled siblings, in addition to a more aggressive-looking mug.
Interior space is competitive with larger vehicles both in passenger and cargo room. That versatile spaciousness is complemented by Honda’s Magic Seat, which folds completely flat to free up more cargo room in the front passenger position.
