The Land Rover Discovery Sport debuted for 2015 as a replacement for the LR2 in the automaker’s lineup and slots below the larger LR4. It is compact in dimensions and has standard seating for five. An optional two-seat third row transforms it into a seven-seat SUV. All-wheel drive is standard, along with a 240-horsepower, turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and a nine-speed automatic transmission. Competitors include the Acura RDX, BMW X3 and Audi Q5.
