The problem: Affected vehicles lack a spare-wheel assist strap. This strap aids in lifting the spare out of its storage compartment; without it owners must lift the spare with their hands, possibly injuring themselves.
Vehicles affected by this service bulletin:
- 2016 Land Rover Range Rover Sport SUVs equipped with 21-inch wheels and a full-size spare.
Corrective action: Dealers will install the missing spare wheel assist strap.
Warranty info: This service bulletin is being performed free of charge under the Land Rover new car limited warranty.
