Nissan’s redesigned 2016 Maxima will start at $33,235, including an $825 destination charge, when it goes on sale this June. Nissan announced full Maxima pricing at the car’s debut at the 2015 New York International Auto Show, and also detailed a reservation program that will award participants with a three-year/36,000-mile complimentary maintenance program.
The 2016 Maxima is available in five trim levels: S, SV, SL, SR and the top-of-the-line Platinum. Features are determined by the trim level; there are no standalone options.
The $33,235 S trim level has 18-inch aluminum wheels, halogen headlights, LED daytime running lights, fog lights, Bluetooth streaming audio, an 8-inch touch-screen navigation system, cloth upholstery, power front seats, dual-zone automatic air conditioning, push-button start and a backup camera. Increasing levels of equipment come as you move up the trim ladder:
SV: $35,215 (all prices include destination)
SL: $37,715
SR: $38,495
Platinum: $40,685
To take advantage of the complimentary maintenance program, buyers must place an order at the reservation website by June 2, 2015, and complete their purchase before Jan. 4, 2016.
