2016 RAM 1500: What's New

Vehicle Overview

The Ram 1500 competes against the Chevrolet Silverado, Ford F-150 and Toyota Tundra in the light-duty, full-size pickup truck market and offers unique features like an available RamBox cargo management system and a four-corner air suspension. The heavy-duty Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks are covered separately in the Cars.com Research section.

The 1500 is available in three body styles (regular cab, quad cab and crew cab) and with three cargo box lengths (from 5 feet and 7 inches to 8 feet). It’s offered with a choice of gas V-6 or V-8 power or a turbocharged diesel V-6.
