Amid slumping sales, Toyota’s youth-oriented brand is hoping a new sedan — its first — will give the brand a boost. The 2016 Scion iA boasts sporty styling, a host of standard safety features and an affordable base price. It debuted this week at the 2015 New York International Auto Show.
Outside, the subcompact sedan shares styling with platform mate the Mazda2; it wears the Mazda’s shark-nose face. Inside, Scion says the new sedan’s cabin wears premium chrome accents and soft-touch trim and surfaces.
