The problem: Volvo has decided to perform a courtesy upgrade on all 2016 Volvo XC90 SUVs to add Apple CarPlay functionality.

Corrective action: Dealers will reprogram the infotainment system on all 2015 Volvo XC90 vehicles with Apple CarPlay.
Warranty info: This service bulletin is being performed free of charge under the Volvo limited new-car warranty.
