Vehicles Affected: Approximately 1,400 model-year 2017 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid minivans

The Problem: Diodes may stop functioning, resulting in a loss of propulsion and increasing the risk of a crash.

The Fix: Chrysler manufacturer Fiat Chrysler Automobiles will upgrade the diodes for free.

What Owners Should Do: FCA did not immediately announce an owner notification schedule; affected customers will be notified when they can schedule service. Owners can call the automaker at 800-853-1403 or visit www.safercar.gov to check their vehicle identification number and learn more.
