With all the buzz surrounding the debut of the all-new 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor (coming later this fall), we thought you might want to see more details about the types of tires the pickup truck use. These are the same tires that are doing such an impressive job in the in which Foutz Motorsports is crushing the competition driving a 2017 Raptor.
The 2017 Raptor will run on new BFGoodrich All-Terrain KO2 tires specifically developed with the truck’s newly modified chassis and suspension. Ford and BFG went through dozens of iterations to find the right balance between optimum off-road performance and real-world street dynamics. The new tread pattern puts more rubber on the ground without sacrificing dirt-grabbing traction. The new tires reportedly have vastly improved tread life as well.
