2017 Hyundai Elantra Bracket Issue

The problem: When a battery mounting bracket was recently replaced, the battery terminals and mounting bracket may not have been properly tightened, which could result in battery damage and difficulties starting the car.

Corrective action: Dealers will check the battery terminals and mounting bracket and tighten as necessary.

Warranty info: This service bulletin is being performed free of charge under Hyundai’s limited new-vehicle warranty.
