2017 Mercedes-Maybach S650 Cabriolet Review: Photo Gallery

CARS.COM — Ya know why I would trust Mercedes with my luxury life? Because it always has Maybach. Welp, there goes a buck in the pun jar, but that’s OK. I can afford it — as opposed to the 2017 Mercedes-Maybach S650 Cabriolet now debuting at the 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show. Buyers of one of just 75 units slated for sale in the U.S. will note differences from the regular S550 convertible including a restyled front bumper and chrome accents. The auto-show model pictured here is the Zircon Red version with Porcelain/Black interior and black top, one of just a trio of color combos. Model-specific 20-inch bichromatic wheels come standard and distinguish the long, flowing high-luxury ‘vert as a Maybach, as does badging on the front fenders. The interior is awash in indulgent luxury appointments like wood and black lacquer accents, embossed leather seats and deep-pile carpeted floormats.
Since (deal with it) you’re likely never gonna even see this thing in the wild, let alone get close enough to breathe its twin-turbo 6.0-liter V-12 exhaust fumes, you may as well fantasize about how the other 1 percent lives with the photo gallery below.
