2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon Video Review

CARS.COM — After months and months of buildup, anticipation and slow reveals, we are finally driving the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon — and it’s set on kill. These cars have 840 horsepower, they’ve got the race gas, they’ve got the race power control module and we’re driving it at Lucas Oil Raceway drag strip in Indianapolis.

Let us tell you: The hype is real, but who would have guessed that 840 hp is difficult to drive? Just look at the number of assists to get you off the line like launch control, TransBrake and line lock for the burnout feature. We’re going to take you through some of those features to get the Demon out of the hole.
