2018 GMC Terrain Starts at $25,970

The 2018 Terrain has been completely redesigned and looks radically different from the older version. Gone is the boxy styling; the exterior is now more rounded and sleek, with pinched rear windows that give the Terrain its signature visual cue.
Along with the visual changes comes 400 pounds of weight loss, which should help both performance and efficiency. There are three new turbocharged powertrains: 2.0-liter four-cylinder and 1.5-liter four-cylinder gas engines, as well as a 1.6-liter four-cylinder diesel.
The Terrain comes standard with the turbocharged 1.5-liter engine and a nine-speed automatic transmission, LED daytime running lamps and taillights, leather-wrapped steering wheel and a flat-folding front passenger seat for storing long cargo.
GMC will also offer a Denali version of the Terrain that will come standard with the larger turbocharged 2.0-liter engine. The Denali will also feature a satin chrome grille, 19-inch wheels, LED headlights, hands-free power liftgate, 8-inch touchscreen with navigation, Bose audio and more active safety features including blind spot warnings with rear cross-traffic alerts, rear park assist and a safety alert seat.
