CARS.COM — If you’ve ever wanted to smoke sports cars from a stoplight in a 5,000-pound-plus SUV, you could get a Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT. And if you’ve ever wanted to smoke a Grand Cherokee SRT, well, there’s a new one for you: the 2018 Grand Cherokee Trackhawk, appearing at the 2017 New York International Auto Show.
Jeep just recently came out with a Trailhawk that was kind of an off-roady version of the Grand Cherokee. The Trackhawk is, unironically, for the track (and other really fast situations), because under the hood is a supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 engine – the same engine in the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat and Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat.
