2018 Mercedes-AMG GT: Recall Alert

Vehicles Affected: Approximately 1,200 model-year 2018 Mercedes-AMG GT, GT R, GT C and GT S coupes
The Problem: The seat belts may bind within the guidance loops, possibly causing slack in the seat belts and increasing the risk of injury in a crash.
The Fix: Dealers will reconfigure the seat belt guides for free.
What Owners Should Do: Mercedes-Benz will begin notifying owners this month, and a second letter will be sent to owners when parts become available, currently expected to be in February. Owners can call the automaker at 877-496-3691, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236 or visit www.safercar.gov to check their vehicle identification number and learn more.
