Vehicles Affected: Approximately 4,700 model-year 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLC300, GLC300 4Matic coupe and GLC350e 4Matic SUVs, and Mercedes-AMG GLC43 and GLC43 4Matic coupe SUVs equipped with LED headlights

The Problem: The front turn signals may have an incorrect color of pink or violet, which may not be as easily recognized by other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.

The Fix: Dealers will inspect the color of the turn signal, replacing the LED module as necessary for free.

What Owners Should Do: Mercedes-Benz will begin notifying owners Nov. 9. Owners can call the automaker at 800-367-6372, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236 or visit its website to check their vehicle identification number and learn more.
