2019 Ford Mustang, Lincoln Nautilus and Navigator: Recall Alert
Vehicles Affected: Approximately 4,200 model-year 2019 Ford Mustang coupes and Lincoln Nautilus and Navigator SUVs
The Problem: The instrument panel cluster assemblies may be blank upon vehicle startup, failing to provide accurate information and increasing the risk of a crash.
Lincoln manufacturer Ford said it is not aware of any reports of accidents or injuries resulting from this condition.
The Fix: Dealers will update the instrument panel cluster software.
What Owners Should Do: Ford did not immediately announce an owner-notification schedule. Owners can call the automaker at 866-436-7332, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236 or visit its website to check their vehicle identification number and learn more.
