2024 Land Rover Range Rover Sport SV Edition Two: The One You Can Buy
Land Rover is taking a new approach to launching the high-performance Range Rover Sport SV. In 2023, the brand rolled out the limited-run, single-spec Edition One, finished in matte-gold paint with a two-tone gray-and-black interior. Following that up is the Edition Two, available to order to all and in the buyer’s choice of four “design curations” featuring a single exterior color and preselected interior and exterior detailing.

The Blue Nebula specification is sprayed a matte gray-blue (with, Land Rover says, a hint of green). It wears satin-finish forged carbon-fiber exterior trim and black 23-inch wheels, behind which are matching Blue Nebula brake calipers. Inside, it’s upholstered in gray-and-black Windsor leather.
The Marl Grey Gloss curation features a shiny finish not just for its paint, but for the woven carbon-fiber exterior trim and 23-inch carbon-fiber wheels, as well. All Range Rover Sport SVs have a carbon-fiber hood, but the weave is left exposed on the Marl Grey Edition Two’s center panel and vents. This curation gets brake calipers in Sunrise Copper and an interior wrapped in rosewood and black leather.
Buyers wanting more Sunrise Copper should direct their attention to the Sunrise Copper Satin specification, in which the whole body is finished in the hue. Its exterior is trimmed in satin carbon-fiber weave, and red brake calipers peer out from behind black 23-inch aluminum wheels. The Sunrise Copper Satin gets a solid black interior.
Finally, there’s the Ligurian Black Gloss, featuring gloss paint trimmed with satin carbon weave. Like the Marl Grey spec, the Ligurian Black Gloss leaves much of the carbon hood unpainted, and it also rides on the 23-inch carbon-fiber wheels, behind which are yellow brake calipers. The theme continues inside with a blend of cloth and synthetic leather in dark gray and black.
Curations, Not Demands
The four design curations are recommendations, but buyers do have some leeway within each. They can choose different wheels — including 22-inch alloys — brake caliper colors and a black or body-color roof. Buyers can also deviate from the prescribed carbon-fiber trim package to one of the other options: a forged, satin-finish weave or a high-gloss weave. The same goes for inside, where the woven trim is accompanied by exposed carbon-fiber front seatbacks. Regardless of finish, all Range Rover Sport SV Edition Twos feature heated and ventilated front and rear seats, the fronts with massage.
Like the Edition One, the Edition Two is powered by a twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V-8 engine with mild-hybrid assistance. Putting out 626 horsepower and a nominal 553 pounds-feet of torque — 590 pounds-feet in Dynamic Launch Mode — the V-8 catapults the Range Rover Sport SV to 60 mph in a claimed 3.6 seconds and on to a top speed of 180 mph.
That’s awfully quick for such a large vehicle, but what’s equally jaw-dropping are the available weight savings. The carbon-fiber wheels, monstrous carbon-ceramic brakes and carbon-fiber hood lop nearly 168 pounds from the SV’s curb weight. Also standard on the Edition Two is Land Rover’s innovative 6D Dynamics suspension. Instead of traditional anti-roll bars, this setup uses hydraulically linked dampers that enhance stability.
Availability and Pricing
The 2024 Range Rover Sport SV Edition Two is on sale now. Pricing starts at $182,325 (including $1,625 destination), although the sticker for each curation varies.
