CARS.COM — Honda redesigned its three-row Pilot SUV for 2016 so it comes as no surprise that the automaker’s luxury arm plans an update for the related Acura MDX. Acura released a teaser illustration of the 2017 MDX ahead of the SUV’s debut in March at the 2016 New York Auto Show.
Acura’s best-selling SUV last was updated for the 2014 model year, and the 2017 teaser shows a much more muscular SUV wearing a chunky face and chiseled body. Although the automaker hasn’t released many details, Acura said that the 2017 model will get new comfort and convenience features as well as a new powertrain. Check back on March 23 when Acura unveils the 2017 MDX at the show.
