July 16, 2018
Today Cars.com unveiled “Car Kids,” its new online video series, featuring two 10-year-old children interviewing representatives from automotive manufacturers at the 2016 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS). These young reporters, with help from Cars.com’s experienced editorial team, reviewed new cars and asked experts tough questions about some of the top vehicles at the show. The video series provides more than just a sneak peek of the NAIAS, cool car specs and hilarious moments; it also reveals genuine excitement and whole-hearted wonder about one of life’s biggest purchases.

“Cars.com wants to bring joy and excitement to both car shopping and ownership,” said Colette LaForce, chief marketing officer at Cars.com. “Letting a couple adorable kids roam around one of the world’s largest auto shows with microphones in hand seemed like a great way to have some fun with auto industry experts. What happens when you put the backseat drivers in control of the questions? Check it out!”
Car Kids traveled the NAIAS floor in Detroit during press previews on Tuesday, Jan. 12. They reviewed Cars.com’s Best of 2016 award winner, the 2016 Volvo XC90, as well as the 2016 Honda Odyssey, 2016 Subaru Impreza and 2016 Nissan Rogue, plus other various vehicles.
