Practical luxury and rugged capability coexist in the 2012 Land Rover LR4, according to Cars.com Family contributor Courtney Messenbaugh. This off-road-capable SUV can easily seat five or seven with the optional third row, and its powerful V-8 engine accelerates smoothly. What’s not to love? Courtney says its dismal fuel-economy numbers of 12/17 mpg are difficult to take.
