The somewhat-small 1 Series has BMW fans excited. Sure, the price is a bit steep — in the $35,000-$40,000 range for the 135i — but if you’re a thrill-seeker looking to part with a big chunk of change anyway, this is the model you’ll want to do it with. Cars.com’s David Thomas loves the performance of the 135i; let’s just say that the words “sublime,” “thrill” and, yes, even “spine-tingling” all make appearances in his full review.
