The 2013 Chevrolet Corvette marks a fitting end to GM’s sixth-generation icon, says Cars.com Industry Analyst Kelsey Mays. This is the generation’s last year before an all-new 2014 Corvette is unveiled. The Corvette’s departure is marked by a 427 Convertible Collector Edition that combines the high-performance 505-horsepower Z06 with a convertible body style, an unavailable blend before 2013. Despite disappointments that have plagued the current generation from day one, Mays says the car still holds unmistakable appeal.
