When the 2016 Chevrolet Malibu hits dealerships, it should be ready for a whole lot more than daily commutes and grocery-store runs. Chevrolet released a new teaser image of the redesigned sedan today and said the new car is undergoing testing in extreme environments, from 107-degree temperatures in Yuma, Ariz., to -13 degrees in northern Canada. In total, testers will log more than 1.5 million miles of driving in controlled environments and on open roads.
The new Malibu will go on sale in late 2015; stay tuned for more information after the sedan debuts in April at the 2015 New York International Auto Show.
