There was plenty to see this morning at the 2007 Detroit auto show. Besides the new Mini Cooper, I saw Mazda’s Ryuga concept in the flesh (above) and it did in fact look a little more complete than the Nagare concept in L.A. Maybe these PR people aren’t just making stuff up.

Toyota really did fashion the Tundra after American trucks. Unfortunately, it took a page out of the cheap plastic interior playbook of past-generation American trucks. The door panel moved when I went to close it. Not a good sign.
