GMAC Back in the Leasing Business

The 2009 models included in the deal are the Cadillac CTS, Chevrolet Malibu and Chevrolet Traverse. The 2010 models include the Buick Enclave, Buick LaCrosse, Chevrolet Equinox and GMC Acadia.

It’s important to note that certain states will be excluded from this leasing deal because GM is already running a pilot program through another financing source. As we told you earlier, Michigan, Ohio, New York, Connecticut and New Jersey will be covered under a leasing program between GM and US Bank.

Leasing is a useful tool for newly launched models, luxury vehicles or consumers who simply like having a new car every few years. It fell out of favor at GM because the company lost a lot of money.
