Heading into its second year of production, the 2024 GMC Hummer EV 3X Pickup is getting a boost. Both the 3X variant and trims bolstered by an optional off-roading package are seeing a significant increase in GM-estimated driving range for the 2024 model year.
According to GMC, the 2024 Hummer EV 3X Pickup can now travel up to 381 miles on a full charge, up from last year’s 355 miles, with the available 24-module battery pack, standard 22-inch wheels and 35-inch all-terrain tires. Buyers can opt to add the Extreme Off-Road Package for an extra cost, which will give them 359 miles on a full charge, up from last year’s 329 miles.
The 3X trim continues to offer a standard adaptive suspension and hands-free steering, cruising and braking. For buyers looking to get the most out of the Hummer EV’s off-road abilities, the available Extreme Off-Road Package will add 18-inch wheels and 35-inch mud-terrain tires. The package also includes four additional underbody cameras, front e-locker and rear virtual locking differentials, heavy-duty ball-spline half shafts and protective gear for the underbody — consisting of two shields to protect the battery and drive units, five skid plates and rocker guards.
