The brushed aluminum start-stop button, located at the bottom of the center console in front of the shifter, adds a new subtle detail: The letters on the button will pulse with light from when the door is unlocked until the engine is started.
For those who have “Jeopardy” aspirations, here’s a fun fact for you: Ford says an adult mustang has an average resting heart rate of 30 beats per minute. Ford has timed the start-stop button illumination to match that – giving the pony car the same heartbeat as an actual pony.
